The Timorese Manpower Agency (TMA) is an agency appointed by the Embassy of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste in Brunei Darussalam to support the employment, care and well-being of theTimorese people in Brunei Darussalam. The TMA in collaboration with the Embassy of Timor-Leste is collaborating with the Brunei Labour Department and Immigration Department to facilitate the employment of foreign workers in line with the Brunei Darussalam Employment Laws, while supporting human rights and fair employment within the country.

Timorese Manpower Agency Facilitates New Source of Foreign Workers for Brunei through Historic Agreement
The Timorese Manpower Agency (TMA) in Brunei is pleased to announce a ground-breaking development in labour relations between Brunei and Timor-Leste. On Monday, November 6, 2023, a significant step towards fostering bilateral cooperation was achieved through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between the Governments of Brunei and Timor-Leste.
The MoA, a testament to the commitment of both nations, establishes a framework for the legal and structured recruitment of Timorese workers to meet the growing labour demands in Brunei. This collaboration marks a new chapter in the diplomatic ties between the two countries, opening avenues for economic cooperation and cross-cultural exchanges.
